So, the 2nd hour of

So, the 2nd hour of the S2 premiere of Witchblade, "Destiny", centers around the Lancae Longini, or the Lance of Longinus. I find it interesting that it's been brought into this show. It first became known to me while watching the excellent anime TV series Neon Genesis Evangelion. Considering all the myths and lore behind the Lance, I suppose it's an appropriate equal to the Witchblade. I hope it shows up again, in this season, as the constant foe against the Witchblade.
